Habilitation Services – Support – Hourly

At LFC, we believe every member deserves the chance to grow, learn, and live life on their own terms. That’s why we offer habilitation and specialized developmental skills training, designed to help members build the daily living skills they need on their journey toward greater independence.

We meet members right where they are — whether that’s in the comfort of their own home or out in the community they know and love. Through patient, hands-on support, we help members learn new skills and grow more confident in their own abilities, all at a pace that feels right for them.

These services can include a wide range of everyday skills — from learning to use the bathroom independently, to preparing a simple meal, to managing a checkbook and everyday finances. And that’s just the beginning; the skills we focus on are as unique as the members we serve.

Because every member’s journey looks different, the services we provide are always tailored to their individual needs and goals — helping them grow more independent or become an active, valued part of their community, guided every step of the way by their own choices and preferences.

At the heart of it all is a simple belief that guides everything we do: we work with the abilities and the disabilities, focusing not on what stands in the way, but on what’s possible.

Homemaker

At LFC, our highly trained employees are here to help members care for their homes, taking on the everyday household tasks so every member can feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.

We take that responsibility to heart — our employees are held to the highest standards, and our supervisors check in regularly, listening closely to feedback so we know our care is truly making a difference. Guided by the plan set by each member’s ISP team, our staff bring warmth and dedication to every visit, working to make sure members and their representatives feel genuinely well cared for.

Our housekeeping services include:

  • Dusting and cleaning floors, bathrooms, ovens, refrigerators, and windows (as needed for a safe, sanitary home)
  • Cleaning the kitchen and washing dishes
  • Routine care and cleaning of household appliances
  • Changing linens and making the bed
  • Washing, drying, and folding the member’s laundry (with ironing when needed)
  • Shopping for and storing household supplies and medicines

Attendant Care

At Living Fount Care, we believe that home is where the heart is — and we’re honored to help our members stay right where they belong. Our qualified caregivers and attendants are thoughtfully matched with each member, providing the personalized support needed so they can continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes.

But independence means more than staying home — it also means staying connected to the people, places, and activities that bring joy and purpose to everyday life. That’s why our caregivers are also there to support members as they participate in the work and community activities that matter most to them, whether that’s running errands, going shopping, attending church, or simply spending time out in the community they love.

Every LFC caregiver and attendant is certified and thoroughly trained, bringing both skill and heart to the support they provide. Our team is dedicated to helping each qualified member attain or maintain a safe, sanitary living environment, because a clean, comfortable home is the foundation for a life well lived.

Beyond the home itself, our caregivers are there for the personal side of daily life too, offering compassionate, respectful support with personal cleanliness and the everyday activities of daily living. From getting ready in the morning to the small routines that shape a full day, our goal never changes: helping members live with comfort, confidence, and dignity, in the place — and the life — they call their own.
